After hearing great reviews from this Sandwich Shop in East Village, my boyfriend and I decided to check this place out finally. We have been big fans of the owner of this place, who also runs Artichoke Pizza and Led Zeppole around the corner.
This shop is tiny and similar to the other two establishments; it has no seating area and is mainly for standing and take-outs. The menu is very simple. It offers Roast Beef “This Way” and “That Way” and also Pastrami Sandwich. The side dishes have their hand cut fries and soup.
We ordered the That Way Roast Beef on a Roll and Pastrami Sandwich with 1 side of Hand Cut Fries. They are amazing and I am happy to say I no longer have to pay $15+ for 1 Pastrami sandwich and tolerate the strange entrance system at Katz. There is no pretension; just good juicy tender beef.
We are both surprised by the flavor and price of Little Piggy and absolutely blessed to live with 5 blocks of all 3 places!
